Amanda Pineda began her dance career
at the age of 12. Her love of flamenco
led her to continue her training in Spain
where she studied at Amor de Dios in
Madrid. She performed in Las Cuevas de
Nemesio where Raul chose her for his
dance company. She performed with
Raul in Palma De Mallorca and Florida
Park in Madrid. She began working in
dance companies, which led her to
travel throughout Europe. She performed
with Carmen Mota in the Canary Islands,




Santa Cruz de Tenerife, Portugal. She also
performed with Antonio del Castillo in
Taragona, Barcelona, and with Maria
Miranda in Andorra, and Portugal. With
Mario Maya she performed in Sevilla,
Barcelona and Italy. She has performed in
La Feria de Sevilla. With Los Marismenos,
she toured, performing in Las Ferias de los
Pueblos. In Mexico D.F., she performed in
el Tablao "Gitanerias". In Morroco
(Marruecos) she performed in Rabat, in El
Hotel Hassan. She began touring in Spain
and expanded to nearly the rest of the
world, where she shared the international
stage with the best flamenco performers,
including José Galván, Mario Maya , Pepa
La Rumbera,Carmen Mota, El Pinto, Juan
Del Gastor, Rafael de Pata Negra, El Cara
Papa. She also travelled to Finland as an
instructor and performer. Throughout her
dance career she has also performed
with her own groups, one of them called "
Los Gitanillos de Espana "which toured to
England and Columbia ,South America.
With "Menta y Canela ". She toured
Portugal with this group. Ms Pineda came
back to the States in 1992. She then
joined Charo and toured Hawaii with her
and the Caribbean Islands. In the Bay
Area she has been perfomed at El Bolero,
Zangria Latin Supper Club
and Theatre Flamenco of San
Francisco.
